Digital Product Refund Policy

Version: 1.0
Effective Date: 1 November 2026
Website: https://1ity.com

At 1ity.com, we sell digital products that are delivered electronically through our website.

Because digital products can be downloaded, copied and stored instantly, they are different from physical products and cannot be returned in the traditional sense.

We want every customer to have a fair purchasing experience. This Refund Policy explains when refunds may be requested, how requests are reviewed and how approved refunds are processed.

By purchasing a digital product from 1ity.com, you acknowledge that you have had an opportunity to review this policy.

Nothing in this policy excludes or restricts any refund or other remedy that you are legally entitled to receive under applicable consumer protection laws.

1. Scope of This Policy

This policy applies to all digital products purchased through 1ity.com, including:

  • Downloadable files.
  • Digital templates.
  • Design resources.
  • Graphics and illustrations.
  • Software and code.
  • Creative assets.
  • Digital documents.
  • Other downloadable products.

This policy applies to purchases made through our website, regardless of the licence tier selected.

2. When You May Be Eligible for a Refund

We will review refund requests in the following circumstances.

2.1 Duplicate Payments

If you have been charged more than once for the same order due to a payment processing error, you may request a refund of the duplicate payment.

2.2 Payment Completed but Product Not Delivered

If your payment has been successfully processed but the purchased product has not been made available through your account, contact us.

We will investigate the transaction and attempt to provide the purchased product.

If the issue cannot reasonably be resolved, an appropriate refund may be provided.

2.3 Defective or Corrupted Files

If a purchased file is corrupted, damaged or cannot be opened using the software and requirements specified on its product page, please contact us.

We will first attempt to provide a working replacement or corrected file.

If the problem cannot reasonably be resolved, you may be eligible for a refund.

2.4 Product Materially Different from Its Description

If the delivered product is materially different from the description provided on its product page, you may request a refund.

Examples include:

  • Incorrect file format.
  • Missing advertised files or components.
  • Incorrect product contents.
  • Materially different functionality.
  • Features explicitly advertised but not included.

Minor differences in appearance caused by display settings, software versions or device configurations do not automatically qualify for a refund.

2.5 Technical Problems Preventing Delivery

If a technical problem on our website or delivery system prevents you from accessing your purchased product, please contact our support team.

We will investigate and attempt to restore access or provide an alternative delivery method.

If we cannot reasonably fulfil the purchase, an appropriate refund may be provided.

3. When Refunds Are Generally Not Available

Subject to applicable consumer protection laws and statutory remedies, refunds are generally not available in the following circumstances.

3.1 Change of Mind

A change of mind after purchasing or downloading a digital product does not automatically qualify for a refund.

Please review the product description, previews and licence permissions carefully before purchasing.

3.2 Incorrect Product Selection

Purchasing the wrong product does not automatically qualify for a refund where the product description and checkout information were accurate.

3.3 Incorrect Licence Tier

Selecting the wrong licence tier, such as Regular instead of Commercial or Extended, does not automatically qualify for a refund or free licence upgrade.

Please review the licence permissions before completing your purchase.

3.4 Software or Platform Incompatibility

Refunds are generally not available where a product does not work because:

  • Your software version does not meet the stated requirements.
  • Your operating system is unsupported.
  • Your device does not meet the disclosed technical requirements.
  • You are using incompatible third-party software.
  • You have not followed the provided installation or usage instructions.

This exclusion applies only where the relevant compatibility requirements were accurately disclosed before purchase.

3.5 Unauthorised Modification

Refunds are generally not available for problems caused by unauthorised modification, alteration, corruption or misuse of the purchased file after delivery.

3.6 Failure to Review Product Information

Refunds are generally not available merely because you did not review the product description, included files, technical requirements or licence conditions before purchasing.

This does not affect your rights where the product is materially different from its advertised description.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email our support team:

Email: support@1ity.com

Please include the following information:

  1. Your order number.
  2. Your registered email address.
  3. The name of the purchased product.
  4. The date of purchase.
  5. A clear explanation of the issue.
  6. Relevant screenshots or error messages, where applicable.

Providing complete information helps us investigate your request more efficiently.

Refund Request Period

Please submit refund requests within 7 calendar days of purchase, wherever reasonably possible.

However, this request period does not restrict any longer period or remedy that may be available to you under applicable consumer protection laws.

Requests involving duplicate payments, unauthorised transactions or other payment discrepancies should be reported as soon as possible.

5. Refund Review Process

Once we receive your request, we will:

  1. Verify your order and payment information.
  2. Review the issue reported.
  3. Determine whether the problem can be resolved through technical assistance or a replacement file.
  4. Assess refund eligibility under this policy and applicable law.
  5. Communicate our decision to you.

Where additional information is required, we may contact you for clarification.

We aim to respond to refund enquiries within 3–5 business days.

Complex technical or payment investigations may require additional time.

6. How Approved Refunds Are Processed

Approved refunds will normally be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.

Depending on the payment provider and banking institution, the time taken for the amount to appear in your account may vary.

We will initiate approved refunds within 5–7 business days after confirming the refund decision, wherever the payment provider supports that timeframe.

Actual crediting time may depend on your bank, card issuer or payment service provider.

We do not normally issue refunds through unrelated payment methods or third-party accounts.

Any mandatory refund processing requirements under applicable law will take priority.

7. What Happens to the Licence After a Refund?

Where a full refund is issued, the licence associated with that purchase will normally be terminated, subject to applicable law.

Following termination, you must stop using the purchased digital product and delete the original file and copies that you are no longer legally entitled to retain or use.

The seller may disable download access and mark the associated licence certificate as refunded or cancelled.

A refund does not affect any separate, valid licence purchased for another product or order.

8. Partial Refunds

In certain circumstances, a partial refund may be considered where:

  • Only part of an order is affected.
  • Multiple products were purchased in one transaction.
  • A particular product cannot be delivered or corrected.
  • An appropriate partial resolution is agreed between the customer and the seller.

Partial refunds will be assessed individually and subject to applicable law.

9. Duplicate Orders and Payment Errors

If you accidentally place duplicate orders or experience a payment processing error, contact us with the relevant order numbers and transaction references.

We will investigate and determine whether a duplicate payment or unfulfilled transaction has occurred.

Verified duplicate payments will be refunded appropriately.

A pending payment or payment authorisation that has not been captured is not necessarily a completed charge.

10. Fraudulent or Abusive Refund Requests

We reserve the right to investigate suspicious refund activity, including:

  • Repeated refund requests involving successfully delivered products.
  • False claims of non-delivery.
  • Attempts to obtain products without payment.
  • Misrepresentation of product defects.
  • Repeated misuse of refund procedures.

Where there are reasonable grounds to suspect fraudulent activity, we may take appropriate action in accordance with applicable law.

Nothing in this section restricts legitimate refund requests or statutory consumer rights.

11. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you believe a payment was made without your authorisation or an incorrect amount was charged, please contact us promptly.

We encourage customers to contact our support team so that genuine payment problems can be investigated.

However, nothing in this policy prevents you from contacting your bank, card issuer or payment provider to exercise any applicable payment dispute rights.

12. Policy Changes

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time.

Each published version will display its effective date or last updated date.

Changes will generally apply to purchases made after the revised policy becomes effective.

A revised policy will not retrospectively remove refund rights associated with completed purchases or override mandatory consumer protection requirements.

The refund policy applicable to an order will be determined by the terms and records associated with that purchase, subject to applicable law.

13. Contact Information

If you have questions about refunds, cancellations or payment-related issues, please contact us.
